WILL WORK AS A SAFETY AND HEALTH NURSE/RN AT LOCAL PRODUCTION PLANT.MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SECOND SHIFT.MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A HOSPITAL OR INDUSTRIAL SETTING.MUST HAVE TWO YEARS OF COLLEGE AND A MS LICENSE. Will administer medical treatment and assistance to all employees for occupational and non occupational illness and injuries in the area. Provide for and/or assistance in such areas as new hire physicals, insurance claims (group and workers compensation), company benefits, hazard communication, weekly, monthly and yearly reports related to safety and health matters, and maintain the necessary records. Provides for safety inspections and reports in the processing areas and elsewhere when requested. Administers first aid treatments, maintain individual and daily logs of employees, provides physicals of new hires, compiles weekly safety reports, maintains contact with employees on leaves of absence regarding status and progress, maintains hearing Conservation Program to meet OSHA standards, orders medical supplies, keeps OSHA log up to date, completes workers comp paperwork, assist in keeping health dept informed of any problems, issue medical supplies, serve on safety committee, assist with safety contest, makes plant inspection and report findings, visit production facilities periodically to promote safety program, and jobs required.
