Robert Half Accounting Specialist in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The role involves processing full-cycle accounts payable, billing, collections, credit analysis and review, assisting with inventory, and providing support for the month-end process.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full cycle accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Handle billing tasks, making sure all bills are sent out and paid on time.

• Manage collections, tracking payments and following up on any overdue accounts.

• Conduct credit analysis and review, assessing the creditworthiness of clients and making recommendations.

• Assist with inventory management, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Provide support for month-end processes, assisting with account reconciliation and report generation.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis tasks.

• Ensure adherence to established accounting policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline accounting processes.

• Address and resolve any accounting related inquiries and issues.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management is essential.

• Experience in billing and invoice processing is required.

• Must have strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting is necessary.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume work environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

• Relevant certification or degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
