Description We are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Miami, Florida. The successful candidate will join our team and play a vital role in financial planning, record-keeping, and financial reporting for the company. This role falls within the accounting industry and will focus on various accounting tasks, from Accounts Payable (AP) to General Ledger management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes

• Handle month-end and year-end close processes

• Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and manage journal entries

• Responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting duties or specific areas depending on the company size

• Use accounting software like Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite, and SAP to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts

• Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines

• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information

• Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes

• Assist with and act as the primary point-of contact for auditor requests

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Ability to handle Journal Entries

• Capable of facilitating Month End Close

• Knowledge of NetSuite software

• Proficiency in using Oracle software

• Experience with QuickBooks software

• Familiarity with SAP software

• Demonstrated ability to work as a Staff Accountant
