Position Overview

If you are passionate about technology, you have a learning mindset, you like to translate customer business initiatives into technical solutions and workflows and have in-depth Autodesk product and domain knowledge in the Digital Factory area or in Data and Process Management , then we'd love to hear from you.

Focused on the Italian Design & Manufacturing business you will work as a pre-sales with our Autodesk Sales teams and Channel Partners, using your practical skills, innovative thinking and technical vision.

Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager for South Europe, you will manage technical aspects of the pre-sales conversations with customers to offer solutions that meet customer business initiatives and become their trusted advisor and technical thought leader. You will as well support our Channel Partners in their sales efforts and learning process.

Hybrid workplace setup in Milan or Home Office in Italy. Travel is required for customer onsite engagements where needed and business-related events.

Responsibilities

As a Territory Solutions Engineer , you will:

• Deliver technical solution discovery sessions with customers to understand their needs and business processes and deliver technical demonstrations and presentations according to these

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the current technologies of your domain, and insight into the industry best practices, business processes, and offerings

• Develop technical content and sales presentations for use in presales activities and for sales automation content libraries

• Work with Technical Sales in Channel Partners to upskill and support their business.

• Provide feedback to product development teams

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years professional experience in the engineering industry or technical sales roles

• Fluent English and Italian, additional languages are a plus

For Territory Solutions Engineer - Factory

• Knowledge of our technology and solution portfolio for Digital Factory and Design and Manufacturing Solutions

• Technical knowledge of Inventor, Factory Design Utilities, and discrete event simulation solutions

• Good understanding of Digital Factory workflows and relation with Building Information Modelling solutions

For Territory Solutions Engineer – Data Management

• Knowledge of our technology and solution portfolio for Data and Process Management and Design and Manufacturing Solutions

• Technical knowledge of Autodesk Vault, Autodesk Fusion Manage, Autodesk Upchain

• Good understanding of connected data approaches to automate Design and Manufacturing processes
