Senior Data Integration Developer BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Integration Developer for a United States - Remote opportunity. Position Title: [ Senior Data Integration Developer] Location: [United States] - Remote Anticipated Start Date: [May 28th, 2024] Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: [6+ Months with possibility of extension] Job Type: Contract to hire - [FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)] Pay Range: [$65/hr.] - [$75/hr.] Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirement:

• 5+ years of experience of ETL development
• 3+ years of experience creating SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages
• Ability to write and understand SSIS script components written in C# code
• Hands-on experience coding with T-SQL or comparable database specific SQL dialect
• Proven ability to tune SQL queries and optimize ETL processes to handle large datasets efficiently and minimize the load times
• Solid proficiency in multiple database technologies
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing
• Familiarity with APIs and middleware solutions that help integrate disparate systems
• Proficient with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
• Skilled in Agile development practices and techniques
• Well-versed in version control tools, such as Git
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor others on the team Job Description:
• Design and implement robust data integration solutions using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, APIs, and other integration technologies.
• Develop and maintain ETL workflows to extract data from various sources, transform it into usable formats, and load it into data warehouses or other target systems.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data integration process.
• Implement data validation and error handling mechanisms.
• Adhere to data governance policies and procedures.
• Create and manage data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other IT team members to develop comprehensive data integration solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Optimize data integration processes for performance and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Continuously improve existing data integration solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into data integration performance and status.
