GKN Automotive Hungary:

It is a truly exciting time to join us at GKN Automotive in Hungary. We are building a new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc which will primarily include assembly, and office accommodation. Until the site is complete in the summer of 2023, we will be based near Miskolc University.

Our Miskolc facility will represent an important regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base and in phase-1, we will employ up to 500 people from the local community in 2023, and will continue to develop the site over time in further phases in line with our ambition to double (or even triple!) the scale of our site.

As such, we are investing heavily in the development of state-of-the-art facilities, to ensure our teams have the tools and resources they need to grow, succeed and thrive in our environment.

We are seeking a Trainee Manufacturing Engineering - Side Shaft Assembly to join our team.

Duties:

• Creation of basic documents à Work Instructions, OP sheets, P-Y sheets

• Translation the foreign documents

• Labeling and marking on the line

• BOM check

• Status update with other departments example: documentation readiness status

• Data collections

• Later when we have production the trainee can support us in the daily report

• Cross check the severities between DFMEA and PFMEA

• Organize the needed components for test production from the Warehouse

Requirements:

• good knowledge of the English language

• creativity and innovation

• communication skills and the ability to work in a group
