The Product Supply and Logistics Division currently has an opening for a Logistics Network Analyst located in our Morton, IL facility. In this role you will manage MPN-GNO Freight Network Spend & Service through data-driven idea generation and execution.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the site transportation operations (Inbound and Outbound) process, transportation network design and optimization, identify and lead transportation network projects and improvement initiatives, conduct freight cost analyses and transportation budgeting, define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and engineer optimal routes for the network

  • Generate OPACC (on variable spend) at or above 3 times our service cost

  • Manage Network Delivery Performance to meet Transportation service Targets

  • Meet OTP/OTD/PCA Targets or Forecast Glide path to meet set Target (if below Target)

  • Network Capacity Monitoring & Management (Predict & Adjust lane capacity based on triggers)

  • Balance Cost Vs Service through TCO Models

  • Freight Account Management

  • Conduct Business Review to update stakeholders and stay on track on Meet expectations

  • Gain Expertise on Customer’s business model to guide them towards strategic changes to keep Freight Cost at Optimal Levels

  • Provide Guidance on Transportation Best Practices on Planning & Execution

  • Liaison to GTOCA/GMM/Network Optimization/Trade & Compliance/ Site & Segment Purchasing

  • Freight Spend Management

  • ABP/RBM Forecasting & Managing to Plan

  • Spend Analysis (Ocean/Ground/Air :: Inbound & Outbound)

  • Erroneous Invoice Fix & Accurate Cost Allocation to Bus

  • Freight Efficiency Tracking

  • Freight Variance Walk & ABP-To-Actuals Walk

  • Facility S & OP and Sourcing Studies

  • Real Time Freight Cost Estimator

  • Freight Spend Optimization

  • Generate Optimal Freight Flow Models

  • What Ports to Enter/Exits

  • What Service to Use

  • What weight brackets to Use

  • What Volumetric Weight to ship

  • Route Consolidation

  • Mode Choice by Cost & Service

  • Execute Optimization Projects to Generate OPACC (3 Times Period Cost/ Stretch 5 Times)

  • Benchmarking against the best and providing 5% YoY reduction on Freight as measured against business volume

  • Freight Optimization Infrastructure Development to sustain ideas & execution model

  • Present & Make Case to sustain funding

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1 years of supply chain, logistics, or data analytics experience

  • Previous experience with Excel Power Pivot, PowerBI, SAS, or other similar data analytics tools/platforms
