Job Overview

As a Compliance Lead,  you will work closely with various functional teams in India to manage compliance for the India business. You will be the primary SPOC for keeping up with the changing regulatory landscape and ensuring the organization evolves with the same in an effective manner.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain oversight of all regulatory developments in the NBFC/Banking/Payments related businesses to proactively manage the potential regulatory risk

  • Translate applicable requirements to Branch’s context and educate internal stakeholders

  • Setting up internal compliance reviews and assessment

  • Becoming primary POC for RBI, helping coordinate with other regulators, and the industry overall

  • Ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies by closely working with all the stakeholders

  • Helping the organization with industry best practices and develop a point of view on all regulatory matters

  • Ensuring all relevant disclosures

Requirements

  • Qualification -  Law graduate, (CS is a plus) with 3-8 years of experience

  • Experience working with NBFCs or banks, fintech experience is a plus

  • Willing to work in a start-up environment - must be hands-on, willing to work as an individual contributor, and as part of a team. 

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Good communication skills, and ability to create high-quality documentation and processes
