Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining the core of Lawson/Infor CloudSuite Financial modules. The job tasks include driving and developing efficient, effective solutions that augment delivered functionality. This role is also responsible for managing the system lifecycle, working with the vendor to resolve any issues and ensure updates are functional.

The role participates in process analysis to understand requirements, designs solutions and prepares technical documentation. Using standard practices and procedures in software development process and in keeping with HCA standards, this staff member conducts unit testing, bug fix remediation/research and must apply advanced technology and tools in the development of solutions for complex problems.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working with the following:

• Object oriented programing in Java, Objective-C or Swift

• SQL Server and Oracle database programming.

Experience with Infor CloudSuite technical tools such as Configuration Console, Infor Process Automation and ION is required. Experience with other cloud-based systems, knowledge of Python and general familiarity with web development would be beneficial.

This team member must collaborate with the appropriate process teams for QA and user acceptance testing of application changes, partner/consult with necessary departments across the organization (security, networking, mainframe, Cloverleaf, Data Power, Zeke / Stonebranch, etc.), and at times vendors to ensure applications function as needed to meet business needs and HCA standards.

On-call support of the operation is required in rotation to support of the operation.

Strong communication skills, problem solving, team orientation and a willingness and ability to learn new technologies and regular knowledge sharing with team mates are a must.

General Responsibilities:

• Program, code and test application programs using HCA IT&S programming standards /conventions.

• Participate in requirements definition and perform analysis of business requirements into design specifications for system development.

• Work with other support developers, LSAs, DBAs, network engineers, security, vendors, etc. as required to determine integration requirements between systems and vendor applications.

• Establish and follow technical standards, control technical design of application requirements

• Provide technical and software support to customer efforts and provide on call problem resolution for production problems as required

Education, Experience and Certifications:

• College Graduate Preferred

• 7-10 years of relevant work experience

Hardware/Operating Systems:

• Windows (2007 and above), IBM AIX (Unix)

Applications/software:

• Infor Cloud Suite Financials or other modules

• Lawson v9 Financials or other modules

• Business Objects Designer

Desired:

• Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Web development

Networking:

• TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SSH

Databases:

• SQL, DB2

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

• Hybrid work schedule in Nashville, TN – in office 2-3 days/week – must be local or willing to relocate
