Fooda Business Development Manager-Product Innovation Team in New York, New York

Position Overview:
We are expanding rapidly across the United States, We are looking to add an experienced sales professional to our warehouse and distribution channels to strengthen our relationships with our largest customers and accelerate growth within our pre-existing markets.
While this role has both sales and operations components, it is at its core a sales role that is focused on leveraging our existing resources and developing new relationships which will allow Fooda to expand quicker and with greater success in our Distribution Center and Warehouse vertical.
Who You Are:
You have 7+ years’ experience in a Sales and/or Business Development role
You’re competitive – you chase your goals and do what it takes to win
You believe results matter and effort is the most important ingredient.
You have experience in following a process and know why and how it works
You have a cheery disposition and positive attitude – startups are a rollercoaster and a great outlook is critical
You have successful cold calling experience
Outside sales experience preferred (preferably in a startup environment)
What You’ll be Responsible For:
This is a hunter role – your goal will be to close new business and launch new sites for Fooda by generating customer leads based on our target profile
Conduct outbound calls to build relationships and set meetings with corporate customers
Be comfortable traveling upwards of 20% to Fooda’s existing and upcoming markets to meet with decision makers
Work with the VP of Product Strategy & Innovation in an assigned regions to organize and track results within each national account
Be comfortable closing new accounts with potential customers through in-person meetings with Learn and understand the Fooda sales training program, including our best practices within the sales process and managing your CRM (Hubspot)
Develop national relationships and leverage those relationships to help acquire new business
Be resourceful in reaching out to new customers and diligent with following up on your leads
Demonstrate high energy by bringing a positive attitude and enjoy making a lot of phone calls
Collaborate with existing market leadership and Fooda’s Marketing department to leverage pre-existing relationships and adapt specific marketing campaigns relevant to each market

The base salary range for this role is $75,000-$90,000 and includes a sales bonus plan that is paid monthly and tied to metrics and results. The base salary is dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to work experience, training, location, and skills.
