We are looking for a Director of Learning Measurement to lead our efforts in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of our L&D initiatives. This strategic role is designed for an individual with a validated background in measurement, analytics, and continuous improvement processes. Your insights will help shape the future of learning at Prudential, ensuring our programs drive performance and align with business objectives.
Enterprise Learning and Development is part of the HR Talent & Diversity CoE which drives Prudentials talent management and inclusive culture efforts. This position will report directly tothe VP of Enterprise L&D.
The current EWA for this position is remote but may require some travel. Your direct leader will discuss with you the exact travel expectation. Candidates within a commutable distance to our Newark, NJ location will have a hybrid EWA.
What You'll Do:
Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and implement a comprehensive measurement strategy that aligns with our enterprise priorities and current service offerings. Focus on enhancing our capabilities in evaluating the effectiveness of learning and development interventions and their impact on business outcomes. Initially, particular emphasis may be placed on cost/benefit analysis for leadership programs.
Measurement Frameworks: Design and implement innovative measurement solutions, including surveys, analytics, and program evaluation techniques, to assess the efficacy of learning programs. Ensure these frameworks capture both qualitative and quantitative data to provide a comprehensive view of learning impact.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data collected from various measurement tools to glean insights into the effectiveness of learning initiatives. Develop and deliver reports that not only highlight key findings but also advocate actionable strategies for improvement.
Client Consultation: Act as a strategic partner to our internal team and clients, helping them understand their learning measurement needs and advising them on best practices for leveraging data to enhance learning outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Leadership Development, Instructional Design, and Business Learning Partners to ensure measurement strategies are seamlessly integrated into all L&D solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to continuously refine and enhance measurement tools and processes based on industry trends, research findings, and client feedback.
What You'll Need:
Proven Expertise: Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing measurement strategies for learning and development initiatives. Deep understanding of data analytics, survey design, and program evaluation methodologies.
Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically about how to use data to drive learning and business outcomes. Skilled in translating data insights into actionable improvement strategies.
Collaborative Spirit: Collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external clients to achieve shared goals.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.
Innovative Thinking: A passion for innovation and the ability to leverage emerging technologies and methodologies in learning measurement.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in guiding teams and influencing senior partners.
Itd Be a Plus If You Had:
Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Educational Technology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology).
Certifications related to learning measurement or analytics.
Experience with digital learning platforms and learning management systems such as Workday and survey tools such as Qualtrics.
An ideal candidate for the L&D function is agile and intellectually curious, able to influence and provide thought leadership in their domain of expertise while effectively navigating ambiguity and driving business outcomes with a learner centric approach. The individual must demonstrate business insight and possess a passion aboutlearning and enhancing learner engagement. Additionally, the ability to build outstanding and constructive working relationships with key partners and foster an inclusive environment will be critical. All L&D team members will need to demonstrate these skills to ensure we collectively deliver optimal business value and customer impact.
