My client, an international Marketing Company located in Newark, has an opportunity for a Tax Accountant. This will be a hybrid position. 1-2 days in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing federal income tax returns for a partnership and a C-Corp consolidation group.

• Process tax payments for quarterly estimates and extensions, etc.

• Prepare state and local income tax returns for a partnership and a C-Corp group, under the supervision of the tax manager.

• Prepare, or assist in preparing, calculation, workpaper, roll-forward schedules and documentation, etc

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 2 years of income tax compliance experience as a preparer, state and local income tax experience preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related preferred.

• CorpTax software experience preferred.

• Dedicated to growing a career in corporate income tax compliance and income tax accounting.

• Detail oriented, deadline driven, with the ability to adapt to change and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
