This is a senior technical leader role. Right candidate is passionate about Engineering, innovative web services and truly enjoys what they do.

At UKG, you will have an opportunity to contribute and participate in the following capacities:

• Senior member of the team who is responsible for analysis, design and development of features to meet new customer requirements

• Participate in a fast-paced Agile development team building full-scale software systems

• Design and build advanced software solutions that scale and meet business requirements

• Collaborate closely with senior members and architects of other teams to understand and help in conceptualising the software architecture

• Ensures adherence of the development team to the architectural vision of the product and also ensuring that associated designs follow that vision

• Collaborate with other members of the team, product owners, quality engineering team members, and documentation writers to ensure appropriate implementation of business requirements

• Collaborate closely with architects to design and conceptualise solutions for multi-tenant / SaaS based offering of the product.

• Assume a mentoring role for other developers, building the skills of less experienced team members, and proactively suggesting process improvements

• Participates in the writing of technical documents (functional specifications, design documents, etc.) as required

• Review product requirements in order to give development estimates and product feedback

• Implement architecture and design patterns to help ensure that systems scale

• Establish processes and best practices around development standards

• Apply technical expertise to challenging architecture and design problems

• Demonstrate good analytical abilities, attention to detail and strong verbal & written communication skills in English

• Demonstrates accountability and ownership for high quality product releases to internal and external customers

Qualifications

13+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, working through all phases of the software development lifecycle

• Strong experience in enterprise-grade SaaS Full-Stack product development

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (8 and above), angular, nodejs, spring framework, hibernate, JPA

Must have: Javascript, Angular 14 (NGRX, RXJS), Typescript, SQL Database, Java, SpringBoot, Hibernate/JPA

• Expertise in Microservices design and architecture, Google Cloud (Preferred), SaaS/Cloud/Multitenant based products

• Hands-on experience with Database like PostgreSQL/PPAS, message brokers like RabbitMQ/Kafka/GCP PubSub and caching systems like Redis

• Excellent Debugging / Troubleshooting skills

• Exposure to Kanban/Agile methodology

• Proven expertise in creating innovative technical design and technical specifications

• Ability to work and communicate clearly and efficiently with team members

• A proponent of continuous integration, unit testing and automation, Strong experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process (CI/CD)

• Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills

• Ability to communicate information effectively to customers at various organizational levels

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure

• Experience with Cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker)
