ManpowerGroup Quality Assurance Supervisor in North Mankato, Minnesota

Our client from food manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing.

Position: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Duration: Full-Time (Direct Hire)

Pay Range: $65K Annually + Fulltime benefits

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a substitute for the QA Manager when required.

  • Managing and training department personnel, as well as creating work schedules.

  • Ensuring the accuracy and currency of procedures, records, and department policies.

  • Demonstrating expertise in quality specifications, water treatment processes, and chemical handling.

  • Managing inventory levels for lab supplies, water treatment materials, sanitation chemicals, and product ingredients.

  • Maintaining calibration records and upgrading testing equipment as necessary.

  • Collaborating on cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing productivity, methods, food safety, processes, and quality.

  • Guaranteeing compliance with all plant sanitation requirements.

  • Scheduling annual maintenance for lab equipment.

  • Working with the QA Manager to introduce and qualify new flavors.

  • Investigating batching and quality issues.

  • Overseeing the quality hold program.

Qualifications:

  • High school education minimum (college coursework in math, physics, and chemistry is advantageous).

  • Previous experience in Quality Assurance is preferred.

  • Ability to read and write clearly.

  • Competence in supervisory duties as per company policies and legal requirements.
