Job Title: HR Coach/Officer
Salary: £25,935 - £32,418 depending on experience

Department and role overview
Based within the Caterpillar North East HR Shared Services Onsite team in Skinningrove, this role will provide tactical and transactional support for all of the Skinningrove site. The HR Coach will deliver support to their customer to improve the quality of HR services to employees as well as reducing overall cost of transactional HR processes through global alignment and standardisation.
The HR Coach will work closely with the UK HR Coach Team, the Business Unit HR Team and the Global HR Shared Services Department. This is an excellent opportunity to gain HR generalist experience within a fast-paced working environment, supporting a small focused facility.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide HR policy and procedure advice and guidance to employees, supervisors or managers
Interface with other Human Resources departments, Peoplesoft, Attract and Develop, Total Rewards and Payroll personnel to assist and support employee issues and problems
General administration for the HR Department including stationary and processing payments
Minuting meetings including investigations, disciplinary and grievance meetings.
Producing people metrics and data analytics through HR reporting for the HR Shared Services Onsite team and business units HR and leaders
Delivery of transactional HR services and deployment of processes throughout the employment lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, flexible working, absence management, leave of absences, long service, terminations and exit interviews
Complete employment verifications, filing, maintaining, and auditing employee files, ensuring legal compliance with GDPR
Supporting reorganizations and reduction activities, including necessary system updates, producing figures and bulk PCF activities
Actively participate in reviewing HR processes and recommending improvements – actively participate on projects to drive global alignment and standardisation
Various other human resources related duties

Skills and Experience:
Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:
Demonstrated administrative experience within a HR environment
Experience of working in a fast paced, highly customer focused role
Excellent PC skills, especially with excel spreadsheets, database and word processing packages
Candidates may have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:
Qualified or working towards a relevant HR qualification e.g. CIPD
Experience of working in a large complex business environment
