Wencor Group Llc Product Line Specialist in PEACHTREE CITY, Georgia

Overview of the Position:

The Product Line Specialist manages all aspects of assigned product line(s), with a focus on P&L profitability and growth, supply Partner relationship management, and supporting the development of compelling value propositions. This is a developmental role to support the workload of Product Managers while also serving as a position that can pipeline candidates within Product Management or to other organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis as assigned and prioritized by the Product Team. Research will involve customers, airlines, technology/products to help the company prioritize investment opportunities

  • Help support the forecasting process and take over increasing level of responsibility

  • Conduct market research and analysis on standards and competitive products Wencor should invest in in order to achieve incremental growth targets

  • Progressively take over responses to simple inquiries from the sales team

  • Serve as a backup to Product Managers

  • Responsible to help ensure slow-moving supply partner inventory, OEM samples, and ‘At Risk’ PMA are sold and set appropriate inventory levels for new product-line additions

    Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong ability and skillset in Microsoft Excel to conduct efficient research, pivot tables, and analysis of large groups of data

    Education / Experience Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of industry experience

    Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
