Associate Civil Litigation Attorney (Junior - Mid Level)

Our law firm client, specializing in Civil Litigation / Business Litigation, is actively seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Litigation Associate with 2+ years of legal experience in Center City Philadelphia, PA. Our client is dedicated to providing sophisticated legal services to medium-sized private public companies as both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court.

  Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Handle complex civil litigation cases in Federal District Court & Pennsylvania State Court in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.

• Specialize in defamation, commercial disparagement, wrongful use of civil proceedings (Dragonetti), partnership and shareholder disputes, employment disputes, and catastrophic injury cases.

• Engage in legal writing, filing cases, discovery, taking and defending depositions, administrative hearings, and trials.

• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals, including a senior associate and partner assigned to each case.

• On-the-job training and mentorship provided to enhance practice.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) / Juris Doctorate (JD) Law Degree from an ABA Accredited Law School

• Mid- to Senior-level Associate: 2+ years of litigation experience.

• PA licensure required; NJ licensure a plus.

• Self-motivated, professional, and friendly personality.

• Strong legal writing abilities for briefs, memos, and pleadings.
