This is a senior role in the Aerospace Mechanical Materials Management organization in which will lead all aspects of Global Planning. As the Sr. Director of ISC Materials Planning you will help in the ongoing development and implementation of process improvements for better execution and delivery to our OEM customers. Specific focus will be on oversight of the Master Production Schedule (MPS), Increasing MPS attainment, and developing MOS tied to SIOP and capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Aero Planning activities for OEM/Spares production

  • Monitor material plan execution and scheduling within factories

  • Lead a team of production planners (managers / individuals)

  • Improvements in material clear-to-build results, by collaborating with suppliers around planning.

  • Meet revenue and growth targets by supporting the planning needs

  • Meet inventory, working capital and DOS objectives

  • Working with cross-functional and cross-SBG teams and Executive Leadership

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

You Must Have

  • 8+ years in supply chain and materials management

We Value

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree Preferred

  • ERP System experience with SAP. Kinaxis Rapid Response experience Preferred.

  • APICS CPIM preferred.

  • Continuous improvement and training facilitation within material planning organizations

  • Industry experience within complex mechanical manufacturing

  • Strong project management and analytical skills solving complex organizational issues

  • Extensive influencing and collaboration skills; with senior leadership, peers, and direct reports

  • Expertise in leading/inspiring change, and mentorship for new leaders or peers

  • Process improvement; documenting process flows, implementing controls, metrics/scorecards

  • Reporting; roadmap development, business case perspective, some analytics

  • Deep expertise and exposure to different organizational disciplines
