Overview

A successful Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist shall be responsible for receiving and processing all billing and revenue transactions to/from customers and keeping other relevant records.

What you’ll do…

  • Interact with field management on status of projects to determine what can be billed

  • Monitor payment status of all invoices

  • Provide field with any accounts receivable information they require

  • Continually monitor all accounts / invoices that require additional follow up to ensure the field is moving forward toward completion

  • Apply cash receipts to customer accounts per remittance detail

  • Investigate and resolve non-matching payment issues

  • Perform account reconciliation as needed

  • Reconcile and review unbilled and billed jobs, ensuring that all billable production is invoiced and revenue is booked in a timely manner and in the appropriate period

  • Review and assist with weekly billing and unbilled status reports and other reports and analysis

  • Match deposit data to invoices and apply payments

  • Research and resolve any discrepancies with field offices or customers

  • Process adjustments

  • Perform account reconciliations

  • Create weekly transaction reports (A/R summary, aging report, retainage summary)

  • Compile monthly and quarterly transaction summaries

  • Additional Duties as assigned

Qualifications

Who we are looking for…

  • Bachelors Degree preferred

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)

  • Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written

  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
