Oracle Senior Account Cloud Engineer (Turkey) in PRAGUE, Czech Republic

Job Description

As an Account Cloud Engineer at Oracle, you will play a critical role in bridging the technical and business worlds. You will work closely with our sales teams to engage with customers across Turkey, demonstrating the robust capabilities of Oracle Cloud Technologies. Your expertise will not only help in convincing potential clients of our technology's value but also ensure that they achieve the best possible outcomes from their investments.

  • Participate in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions in line with Oracle Cloud's best practices.

  • Educate customers on the value proposition of Oracle Cloud and assist them in solving complex problems by leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

  • Advocate for Oracle's solutions by presenting, creating and sharing technical assets such as reference architectures, solution code, blog posts, or video demonstrations.

  • Act as a technical point of contact for customers and sales, addressing technical queries, coordinating resources, and resolving challenges during the delivery process.

Responsibilities

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking

  • Knowledge of system administration, including Linux operating systems, virtualization environments, application servers, database management, or managing open-source solutions.

  • Experience in solution design or implementation for infrastructure and software solutions.

  • Fluency in English and Turkish.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing advisory role within a cloud computing environment. Relevant experience in technology/software sales, consulting, or project management.

  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) and technical concepts like cloud-native, big data, and distributed systems. Certifications in these areas are a plus.

  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies, including microservices, serverless computing, CI/CD, cloud-native development, and agile methodologies.

  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and hands-on experience with emerging technologies and methodologies, with a desire to share knowledge with colleagues and customers.

  • Additional experience in other tech domains such as application development, analytics and data science, big data, or SRE is a plus.

  • Previous exposure to Oracle Technologies like Exadata, Oracle Database, Weblogic, etc.
