Eaton Corporation Team Lead - Enterprise Data Assets- Palantir in Raleigh, North Carolina

Eaton is seeking a Team Lead - Enterprise Data Assets (Palantir) to join our Corporate IT Integrations & Data Management team. This role may be located at one of the following locations: Beachwood, OH; Galesburg, MI; Raleigh, NC; Moon Township, PA; Houston, TX; Menomonee Falls, WI.

Reporting to Director of IT – Enterprise Data Management, this role will support driving modernization strategy, roadmap and implementation of the data and application integration technology ecosystem for the enterprise. You will lead technology projects such as real-time integration for advanced analytics, APIs to enable app-to-app transactions across mission critical ERPs and event-driven data streams. These projects will provide the foundation needed to grow our on-premise data hub to a distributed cloud based data mesh environment. In addition, this leadership position will be responsible for a team of full stack Data Engineers who will deliver content to support business outcomes for all Enterprise Data Assets products.

In this role you will:

• Support development and execution strategy for the Enterprise Data Assets value stream as part of the overall Eaton IT enterprise strategy.

• Lead a global team of 8+ employees and contractors to deliver integration technologies in a DevOps model

• Develop high quality data asset products in line with business requirements using an Agile DevOps development methodology

• Deliver on operational KPIs for Enterprise Data Asset solutions including pipeline quality, platform availability and metadata management

• Partner with enterprise architecture to establish and develop self-service capabilities to automate routine, repeatable integration requests

• Upskill integration product team into a full stack data engineer function prepared for modernization within cloud environment

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM from accredited university

• 8+ years of data/application management experience

• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting data hub frameworks such as Cloudera/Hadoop, Azure or AWS

• Knowledge of implementing complex event streaming, services, ELT and ETL patterns in technologies such as Informatica and Apache Kafka

• Experience developing data engineering teams who can deliver on strategic application modernization

• Experience working with a mixture of 3rd party and cloud native technologies and ecosystems

Your Skills:

• Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at senior levels and demonstrated experience managing vendors

• Ability to lead team through diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems

• Ability to identify operational issues and proactively solutions to resolve problems.

• Experience achieving team KPIs

• Experience reporting team progress and opportunities to upper management

• Ability to driven application modernization and enablement

• Experience managing high-level technical delivery.

• Experience influencing leadership and key stakeholders on technology solutions.

• Experience applying knowledge of the new processes and concepts in IT management, structure and organization

The expected annual salary range for this role is $136.500 - $190,000 a year.
