What You Can Expect

Field Inventory Sr Analyst is responsible for day-to-day execution of analysis for Inventory Optimization. Key responsibilities include managing and developing reporting and execution driving field inventory productivity improvements, optimization, strategic inventory modeling, and Field Asset process improvement. Will partner closely with Commercial Sales Teams, Marketing, Distributor Services and Demand Planning to more efficiently manage field inventory and communication processes.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Developing, managing and leading U.S Field inventory management projects that drive inventory optimization objectives

  • Continually develop plans/projects for process improvement for greater efficiencies and increased accuracy

  • Ensure all inventory adjustments/transactions are accomplished within a broad list of requirements from groups such as internal audit, quality, regulatory and finance.

  • Responsible for meeting corporate objectives as it relates to field inventory. Responsibilities to include (But not limited to) – Forecast alignment, field inventory levels, CAPEX budget, and productivity improvement targets

  • Collaborating with Commercial Sales teams and Marketing leaders to ensure process alignment as it relates to U.S. field inventory.

  • Accountable for ensuring field distributor transaction requests are completed accurately and expediently

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Robust knowledge of field inventory processes and functions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to achieve results through influence in a team oriented environment.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and identify creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Have understanding of supply chain and business processes including planning, distribution, and sales. Comprehensive knowledge of SIOP, Sales Logistics, and Supply Chain processes.

  • In-depth knowledge of information systems, interrelations and tools including Microsoft Office applications, SMS, and Tableau and the ability to utilize these tools to deliver critical business reporting and applications.

  • Understanding of Zimmer Biomet products, strategic business units, and basic manufacturing process.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and how to impact and influence people.

  • Results oriented with the ability to deliver on commitments, tasks, and projects on time.

Your Background

  • B.S. in Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance or related field with 4+ years of experience within sales operations functions and/or inventory management/logistics preferred.

  • Equivalent combination of years of experience and education will be considered.

  • Up to 10%
