Providence Health Plan is calling a Director Regulatory Affairs who will: Be responsible for managing and developing a team tasked with performing regulatory consulting and regulatory product lifecycle support for all Providence Health Plan and Providence Health Assurance business activity and strategic initiatives Provide support for all lines of business, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, individual market, employer group plan offerings and services, and ancillary lines Be responsible for managing interpretation and dissemination of state and federal regulatory requirements applicable to all health plan activity Be responsible for guiding the organization to successful approval by regulators of all product offerings including supporting rate, benefit, and network filings Ensure mandatory regulatory reporting occurs accurately and on time Impact PHP's legal and regulatory obligations as well as financial obligations to health plan customers We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States / Regions: Oregon Washington California Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or other related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education / experience 10+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or oversight, auditing, risk management, law, government regulations or another related field 5+ years managed care or health insurance experience 5+ years management experience (Qualifying experience may include: Overseeing legal assistants, Paralegals or other similar indirect reporting) Preferred qualifications for this position include: Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field -OR- J.D.
