The Senior Honors Counselor will provide holistic academic advising and counseling to current and prospective undergraduate students in The Honors College. This includes establishing strong connections and maintaining a positive relationship with students from admissions through degree completion. The Senior Honors Counselor will facilitate the development of a personalized honors plan of study for each student, provide connections to experiential learning and student support resources, guidance for postgraduate opportunities, and assistance with career development/clarification of goals. The Senior Honors Counselor will participate in various Honors College and university activities designed to promote student success. Additionally this includes collaborating effectively with team members, campus partners, and other stakeholders to accomplish projects with excellence in a timely manner. Participation in recruitment events as needed, as well as advise incoming freshmen during orientation regarding Honors College information.
