Summary
The IT Applications Manager will lead a team of functional and technical IT associates to implement and support IT solutions in the assigned area for Perdue AgriBusiness (PAB). The position will develop, maintain and execute the IT roadmap for the assigned area and work with IT leadership to roll up to the IT strategic roadmap.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work with business leaders to develop and maintain IT roadmap for assigned area. Facilitate rollup into overall IT roadmap with IT leadership
Research and propose system solutions to realize business goals for strategic projects in subject area
Evaluate and propose changes to existing processes to make systems efficient, wherever opportunities exist
Manage a team of functional and technical IT associates to achieve department goals
Manage resource load and prioritize project and support activities for assigned area
Responsible to determine system solutions to achieve goals of the IT strategic roadmap in subject area
Participate in all phases of IT projects assigned
Minimum Education
BS Degree (Business or Computer related majors)
Master Degree Preferred
Experience Requirements
- 10 Years IT Experience or equivalent experience in business roles
Experience Preferred
Experience with Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management
Experience with DycoTrade CTRM
Knowledge of Data Analytics concepts and tools is a plus
Prior use of Jira software
Prior use of Clarizen project management software
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
Some minor travel to manufacturing plant sites to support strategic projects
