Audacy Account Manager in San Francisco, California

Overview

AudacySan Francisco is seeking an Account Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. The Account Manager will collaborate with various departments to develop sales enablement programs and Go-To-Market strategies for events and promotions. Manage sales resources to maximize productivity and revenue.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Work with account executives, sales leadership team and other departments to assist in the creation and development of sales enablement programsand initiatives to improve efficiencies and results.

  • Work closely with sales/programming/marketing/promotions leadership to develop Go-To-Market Strategiesfor events, promotions, and digital opportunities and ensure materials are organized, easy to digest and ready to sell.

  • Manage content and resources available to sales team to maximize productivity, outreach volumes and revenue development.

  • Develop robust VBR library and organized local sales resources.

  • Organize and build out vertically focused materials including research and development of initiative-specific VBRs, aligning tactics with KPI’s, and creative solutions.

  • Update existing pitch decks and work with sales leaders to update package one sheets and pricing materials.

  • Work closely with both sales & marketing teams in developing strategic promotions and revenue generating initiatives across all assets and station brands.

  • Meet with AE’s to assess challenges/pain points throughout the sales cycle and proactively address areas to improve business outcomes.

  • Assist AE’s with development of Strategic Account Partnerships including account brainstorming, research, strategy, etc.

  • Develop and assist in executing Post-Sale Strategies including execution checklists, recap templates, andcampaign/client onboarding processes.

  • Work with sales coordinators and DCMs to determine AE best practices/processes to increase efficiency.

  • Maintain client-facing relationships as needed and can assist with important CNA’s for both larger opportunities or new accounts.

  • Work with sales leadership to further develop, analyze and improve sales meeting content, decks, materials and task assignments (ie: target lists, account drafts, etc)

  • Assist sales leadership with AE onboarding & training including specific onboarding roadmap and opportunities to customize to fit new hire’s unique needs.

  • Assist in processes to monitor& manage campaigns to ensure effective delivery, make optimization recommendations and any necessary campaign reporting & recaps.

  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions.

  • Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service possible.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

About You:

Required:

  • Minimum 3 years or related experience providing consultative in-market strategy to maximize local sales revenue.

  • Strategic thinker with positive, proactive, solution-oriented talent themes.

  • Position requires advanced knowledge of Google Suite, Salesforce and web-based programs and excellent organizational/time management skills.

  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.

  • 4-year degree with marketing emphasis preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required.

Additional Information

The anticipated starting salary range for San Fransisco individuals expressing interest in this position is $90,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
