SAP Technology Senior Consultant in Sao Paulo, Brazil

Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks

  • Detailed planning of IT- implementations

  • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements

  • IT-Process implementation across all related IT-components

  • IT-components specific expert consulting

  • Support in escalated projects

  • Detailed knowledge of several operating systems and SAP applications

  • Understanding and adherence of Project management & Quality Assurance Methodologies

  • Support for system optimization

  • Delivering successful projects and customer success

  • Ability to play the role of a technical lead on projects (technical upgrades/Implementations)

  • Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks

  • Ability to work on activities involved Upgrade and EHP Planning

  • SAP Basis and Security Authentication Strong Knowledge and Hands on experience on Technical Planning, Installations, Upgrades, OS/DB Migrations, Unicode Conversions

  • Technically fluent in Operating System (Unix/Windows/Linux), Database HANA/Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/ MaxDB ) administration

  • SAP HANA in-Memory Platform

  • SAP HANA Data provisioning technology including SAP LT, Data Services, DXC, Sybase replication server

  • SAP HANA scale-out and standalone deployment, administration and optimization experience and knowledge

  • Ability to troubleshoot/analyze and resolve technical problems

  • Ability to work on activities involved in Plan areas ( Sizing, Scoping , Client/Landscape Strategy, HANA High Availability/HANA Disaster Recovery Strategy etc,) of Implementation projects without much supervision at transaction level

  • Ability to work on activities involved presales support on request

  • Solution Manager implementation of the implementation or operation components

Experience & Language Requirements

Functional Experience

-At least 2 full project cycle (BASIS)

-Fluent in English

-S4HANA knowledge

-Experience in migration projects

  • At least five years professional experience thereof two years as a consultant

  • Expert in at least one topic of SAP technology and good knowledge in at least one more (S/4 HANA, PO, BW, etc)

  • Technical planning, implementation and configuration over the full project cycle

  • Writes and reviews concepts or detailed blueprints of IT implementations or IT operations

  • Can successfully handle an escalation project

  • Good communication skills with technical focus

  • Active Member of a technology related community

Managerial Experience

  • Takes responsibility from time to time as a sub project leader as required

  • Coordinates customer project members, his/her own team and his/her own project tasks.

English: Fluent

Education: Degree in sciences (computer, natural, technical) or equivalent work experience
