Human Resources Manager

Location: Saukville, WI

Duration: Permanent

Pay Rate: 90000-100000/yearly

On-Site 5 days a week

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain employee handbook; develop and enforce policies and procedures.

  • Manage recruitment efforts in support of open positions; ensure a smooth and consistent hiring process.

  • Function as employee relations specialist by handling employee relations inquiries, counseling, and investigations

  • Acknowledge and resolve all employee questions and concerns in a timely manner by partnering with plant leadership and interpreting/adhering to HR/company policies to ensure consistency.

  • Coach, counsel, and guide operational leaders regarding performance manager, corrective action, and other matters of organizational risk to drive performance and adherence to company policy.

  • Coordinate with legal support in investigation and preparation of defense with claims filed with EEOC, NLRB, OSHA, EPA, WDNR

  • Collaborate with management regarding employee retention: identification of potential at-risk employees, development of resources for managers, administration of surveys and feedback modules, coaching and training for management, and other retention related activities.

  • Support maintenance of employee pay changes, promotions, terminations, and other employment activities.

  • Oversee progressive discipline process, prepare changes in employment status, terminations, PTO requests, documentation, and compliance.

  • Develop and implement HR objectives, goals, and system development to support continuous improvement efforts.

  • Enforce employment laws and their practical applications in the workplace including but not limited to: EEO, FMLA, FLS, HIPPA, ADA, etc. Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or Business Management

  • 7+ years relevant experience

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
