Our Data Engineering team's core functionality is building and maintaining data infrastructure. This expertise can be broken down into the following areas: Core Data Services: Building and maintaining data pipelines and solutions to enable programs, initiatives, and production workflows, as well as reporting and key metrics. Data Innovation: Building and adopting new mechanisms to enable our teams to better interact with data. This allows for better efficiency and scaling, particularly in regards to data-related resources and infrastructure. Data Security: Building and implementing mechanisms for data security to build retail customer trust and drive compliance with GDPR, CCP, and other future legal and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities * As a Data Engineer you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments. * You will be developing and supporting the analytic technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data. * You will be responsible for designing and implementing a platform using third-party and in-house reporting tools, modeling metadata, building reports and dashboards in Oracle BI Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). * You will work with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs. Required Skills & Experience * 7+ years of related experience (Data Engineering, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing). * Top notch experience with Informatica. * Very Strong development experience with SQL and notable relational databases. * Should have experience developing complex data pipelines. * A good candidate has strong analytical skills and enjoys wogrking with large complex data sets. * Good knowledge of Python * A good candidate can partner with business owners directly to understand their requirements and provide data which can help them observe patterns and spot anomalies.
