Our client, a leading innovator in electronic components, is seeking a Contract Engineering Associate Mid to join their team in Sunnyvale, CA. As a Contract Engineering Associate Mid, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of cutting-edge electronic designs. Leveraging your expertise in Electro-Magnetic and Interference (EM/IR) analysis, you'll be responsible for optimizing chip performance and ensuring a flawless product. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a passion for electronics and a meticulous eye for detail.

Job Title: Contract Engineering Associate Mid

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

What's the Job?

• Conduct in-depth EM/IR analysis for both digital and analog chip designs, identifying and resolving potential issues.

• Develop and implement automated workflows using ANSYS tools to streamline the IR/EM analysis process for analog designs (experience with Redhawk/Totem a plus).

• Utilize Calibre software to extract layouts of full-custom chips with precision.

• Analyze and optimize power/ground network (PDN) planning for optimal chip functionality at both block and chip levels.

• Perform SPICE simulations to verify circuit design and functionality.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)

• Strong understanding of fundamental EM/IR principles

• Proven experience in analyzing EM/IR issues for both digital and analog circuits

• Experience with PDN network analysis and methodologies

• Expertise in developing ANSYS tool flows for full-custom or analog design (familiarity with Redhawk/Totem a plus)

• Proficiency in SPICE or similar circuit simulation tools

• Experience with Calibre Extraction or RC extraction for full-custom chip layouts

• Knowledge of power/ground planning and analysis techniques
