Business Analyst, Strategy & Technology Group (STG)
We are seeking a passionate Business Analyst to join our Aon Strategy and Technology Group (STG) based in Sydney.
Aon STG transforms how consultancy services are provided to (re)insurance clients across geographies and solution lines. We have 500+ global specialists that bring market leading insights, underpinned by our extensive technology suite and Aon’s deep (re) insurance industry expertise, to produce high quality tailored advice and executable solutions. The three Pillars of the Strategy and Technology Group (STG) are Strategy, Finance and Actuarial and Technology.

What the day will look like
The role will provide strategic consulting services to insurance and reinsurance clients to service projects which help them meet their strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:
Data analysis and modelling (proprietary Aon data and external data sources)
Desk-based research
Synthesizing findings from research and analysis
Preparing for and participating in interviews and workshops with industry experts and clients
Presentation of strategic insights to clients/stakeholders
Designing and producing client-ready deliverables via platforms such as but not limiting to MS O365 Tools, Alteryx
Providing input into the development of new analytics tools and solutions
Develop your internal network to connect with Aon's market practitioners as required by client-focused activity
Any ad hoc tasks as assigned by your Manager

Skills and experience that will lead to success
You will be curious, keen to learn and eager to challenge the status-quo with fact-based recommendations.
Graduate degree in any discipline
Experience in (re)insurance industry will be advantageous
Proficient in MS O365 tools
Highly proficient in data analysis with the use of MS Excel
Strong communicator (written and verbal), with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders
Able to work independently in a fast paced and fluid environment
