Key missions of the position:

• Responsible for driving & executing process engineering KPIs for Customer service SFU (Small factory unit)

• Designing of Special purpose Machine, Fixtures, Equipments and tools for New Projects.

• Standardization of existing Tool’s and Fixture’s design in line with Manufacturing standards.

• Jigs and Fixture Development for Feeder lines. (Weld shop, Paint shop, Machine shop and Anodizing plant)

• Co-ordination between feeder lines SFU and project responsible engineer from PED.

• Field service Industrial Facility creation for Retrofits and field Projects.

• Single point contact for tools requirement at Service sites (IR and Metro)

Main responsibilities:

• The execution of customer service line (Small Factory unit) process engineering deliverables.

• Responsible for feeder line plant fixtures, tools, and facility creations to sustain the manufacturing feasibility

• Establishment of new facility equipment’s and proving with process

• Establishment of process for new products and make it’s corresponding documents like process data sheet (PDS), operation data sheet (ODS), Assembly instructions sweet (AIS) etc.,

• Implementation of TOT (Transfer of Technology) projects from our SISCO and gets approval from customer.

• Preparation of assembly cell layout and plant layout.

• Budgetary Control for Capital Investment for project and existing products.

• Preparing of Return on Investment (ROI) for each capital investments to make justification to Top Management.

• Preparation of make or Buy for new projects and existing products.

• Preparation of PFMEA and control plan for new products

• As a project core team member (CTM), you will work seamlessly with other CTM's from various functions assigned to the project under the leadership of your project manager.

• You will discharge your duties in a very efficient manner such that all the Project milestones are achieved, Contract Margin is respected and the QCD parameters are met, if not exceeded.

• You must demonstrate agility such that the Projects are executed in a manner that will ensure repeat orders from the same Customer

• M3 Implementation (MBOM Creation and Standardization 95% Data Accuracy)

• Troubleshooting of SPM / Fixture / Equipment / Tools / Rigs

• Sustain of IMS & IRIS system in PED Department

• Process Knowledge will be additional advantage for Welding, Machining, Painting and Anodizing

• Evaluation (risk assessment) of PCR/ECR involving the special process.

• Evaluation (risk assessment) of concessions involving the special process.

• production planning and start up, especially for new products

• process and product audits

• Nonconformities and corrective actions

• identification and traceability

• quality records

• The area of responsibility includes:

• Requirement review and feasibility confirmation during tender phases.

• Design review (when applicable).

• Material specification.

• Participation to:

• Participation to equipment and tools definition.

• Participation to process and product audits.

• Participation to Quality Records definition.

• Participation to Surveillance Plan & Control Plan definition.

• QRQC Step 2 Process, and to the Standardization committee.

Candidate profile and Required Skill set

• 10 + years of experience in process engineering.

• Graduate in Tool and design specialization

• Strong Project Management Skills

• Working knowledge of assembly process

• Experience in Tool design (Machine building, Special tools & fixtures)

• Hand on experience in Technology Transfer

• Knowledge in ERP like MBOM, Work center and TMC

• Knowledge in Value stream mapping (VSM)

• Knowledge in Line balance

• MOST techniques
