  • We are seeking a Laboratory Manager with strong project management experience and extensive leadership skills to join our team in Tampa Bay, FL!

  • Schedule: M-F 8a-5p Pay: 100K-120K Salary DOE Location: Tampa Bay, FL

  • Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 10-15 professionals and technicians, managing day-to-day laboratory operations to ensure efficient workflow, resource allocation, and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Improve efficiency and throughput of the services provided by the laboratory.

  • Schedule work efficiently.

  • Review all assembled reports to ensure quality.

  • Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Keep ISO documentation and SOPs up to date.

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in the data and report generation.

  • Manage inventory and procurement of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and consumables.

  • Execute analytical methods for water and membrane analysis, including but not limited to, chemical composition analysis, membrane performance evaluation, and contaminant detection.

  • Experience with instruments such as ICP-OES, TOC, Zeta potential, Streaming Potential, IC, SEM-EDS, Raman, FTIR, and UV-Vis is a plus.

  • Project Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute laboratory experiments, research projects, and product development initiatives.

  • Track project progress, analyze data, and prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and cost optimization to enhance laboratory efficiency and productivity.

  • Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in laboratory management, preferably in water treatment.

  • Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation used in water analysis.

  • Proven history of project management and KPI implementation.
