ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.

Dates: June 10 to August 16, 2024

Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week

YOUR DAY TO DAY:

• Assist in the monthly closing process by preparing and uploading journal entries

• Assist in the preparation of Financial package by preparing running reports for various budget vs. actual schedules so that management can analyze company performance

• Prepare various general ledger account analyses in Excel by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accurate activity within the account

• Prepare Bank Reconciliations for several accounts and prepare necessary journal entries

• Prepare and maintain Recurring entries • Assist in preparation of FLUX Quarterly

  YOU HAVE:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, preferred.

• Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.

• Expected graduation of summer 2024 or winter 2024.

• Strong communication, collaborative, and analytical skills.

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, preferred.

• ERP Experience (Oracle mainly), preferred

• Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.

• Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred.

• Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
