MUFG Process Engineering & Management Data Analyst in Tempe, Arizona

The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Performing process engineering and data analytics; developing requirements and drafting procedures to source, aggregate, transform, and extract data for business end users. Utilizing PowerBI, SQL, and Tableau to develop dashboards, data models, and presentation layer data visualizations to create reports for business users and senior management and for resource capacity, budgeting, and forecasting use cases. Designing target state data governance, BAU change management, and data sourcing functions and processes for regulatory and risk reporting aligned to technology design and target state architecture. Designing and defining new roles, responsibilities, and functions and drafting operational playbooks for end users for testing and deployment. Drafting new process Operating Standards and procedure documents aligned to internal risk & controls. Conducting UAT testing and draft parallel test plans, scripts, and cases; designing interim process solutions upon identification of process or technology delivery gaps. Designing training and communication plans for target state processes and technology capabilities; coordinating rollout of new processes to end users.

Qualifications – External

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Management/Analytics, Information Management, Finance, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree).

Experience: 5 years of process engineering and data analytics experience; developing requirements and drafting procedures to source, aggregate, transform, and extract data for business end users; utilizing data analytics tools (PowerBI, SQL, and Tableau) to develop dashboards, data models, and presentation layer data visualizations to create reports for business users and senior management and for resource capacity, budgeting, and forecasting use cases; and 1 year of experience must be in the financial services or banking industry designing data governance, change management, and data sourcing processes for regulatory and risk reporting; drafting new process procedure documents aligned to internal risk & controls; designing training and communication plans and coordinating rollout of new processes to end users.

Alternate: In the alternate, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Data Management/Analytics, Information Management, Finance, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) plus 3 years of process engineering and data analytics experience; developing requirements and drafting procedures to source, aggregate, transform, and extract data for business end users; utilizing data analytics tools (PowerBI, SQL, and Tableau) to develop dashboards, data models, and presentation layer data visualizations to create reports for business users and senior management and for resource capacity, budgeting, and forecasting use cases; and 1 year of experience must be in the financial services or banking industry designing data governance, change management, and data sourcing processes for regulatory and risk reporting; drafting new process procedure documents aligned to internal risk & controls; designing training and communication plans and coordinating rollout of new processes to end users.

Other: Position requires employment in-office 4 days per week and remotely 1 day per week.

Wage: $122,283 to $127,000 U.S. dollars per year
