JOB DUTIES:

  • Develop monthly MPS plan based on demand, build material plan and capacity plan. Work with supply chain, production team, technical service & human resource team to implement the MPS plan.

  • Schedule the new customer order, balance the conflict of customer requirement, material availability & production capacity.

  • Organize weekly production meeting, communicate next 4wks production plan with Production/technical service/supply chain/engineer team, highlight the key items & concerns.

  • Create and release production order. Follow up the production implementation and solve the un-planned issues.

  • Lead “SOL with shortage” process, organize team to find the best method to implement the production plan, minimize the impact on production/RTS/CSD which caused by material shortage.

  • Responsible for head machining and assembly production plan, closely work with production team to improve the efficiency and control the inventory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics or Industrial Engineering is required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles.

  • APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification highly desired

  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills

  • Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures

  • Solid product knowledge BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in product scheduling highly desired

  • Good logic & strong ability of communication

  • Advanced knowledge of prime products and attachments

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively more complex supply chain experience

Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Level Working Knowledge:

•  Follows proper data gathering and analysis processes and policies.

•  Reports problems that arise in the data collection process.

•  Participates in gathering and analyzing an organization's data based on requirements.

•  Documents data from various sources and in various formats.

•  Utilizes basic data collection and evaluation tools and techniques.

Forecasting: Knowledge of forecasting tools, approaches and practices; ability to determine product demand and estimate production requirements and loads.

Level Working Knowledge:

•  Participates in preparation of short-term forecasts for a specific product or site.

•  Gathers and analyzes demand data with specific tools and procedures.

•  Locates useful information and sources of input used in weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts.

•  Researches seasonal trends for a major product or product line.

•  Explains common types of business conditions and activities that impact demand.

Production Scheduling and Control: Knowledge of procedures and tools for scheduling and controlling production runs; ability to utilize knowledge of daily manufacturing processes to assure quality deliverables.

Level Extensive Experience:

•  Manages the job cycle to ensure completion of jobs according to agreed-upon schedules.

•  Communicates with customers and sales staff on scheduled and unscheduled production work.

•  Resolves critical or costly workflow problem areas and recommends improvements.

•  Schedules and oversees all production runs for a specific plant or assembly line.

•  Produces master schedules for overall plant activities; shows all dependencies and contingencies.

•  Oversees production acceptance testing and associated performance measures.
