Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant in Tucson, Arizona, with a strong background in general accounting. The role involves working independently on routine and assigned bookkeeping and accounting tasks, compiling accounts payables and receivables, and leveraging accounting software and IT systems to perform duties effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently on routine and assigned bookkeeping and accounting tasks

• Compile all accounts payables and receivables

• Record transactions and accruals, and prepare weekly payments of invoices

• Leverage accounting software and IT systems to effectively perform duties

• Deliver tasks with timeliness, accuracy, and completeness to the highest ethical standards

• Comply with generally accepted accounting principles for non-profit entities

• Use skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and General Accounting. Requirements • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Mastery of General Ledger management

• Capable of performing Journal Entries accurately and timely

• Familiarity with Month End Close processes

• Proficiency in using accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Comprehensive understanding of General Accounting principles and practices

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to multitask

• Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations
