Overview
GPM Investments, LLC seeks a staff attorney/in-house counsel to negotiate and draft corporate contracts, supply agreements and lease agreements. In addition, the successful candidate will be trained and assist with contract management responsibilities and credit underwriting (including securitizing) investments made by the Company.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate corporate contracts, including supply agreements, lease agreements, personal guaranties, etc.
Work closely with Credit Department to assist in managing credit and security matters, including researching how to securitize certain investments made by the Company
Assist with the contract management processes and systems of the Company
Assist with legal and due diligence during business acquisitions
Qualifications
Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail
Strong written/verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and confident), along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
Strong negotiating and critical thinking skills
Self-motivated and able to prioritize
Ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting
Ability to work under tight time constraints and extended hours as required
Three to five years’ experience
Admission to at least one state bar (preferably Texas, but not required)
Strong academic background – Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate
