Our client is actively seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Commercial Property Accountant to join their team. If you possess a keen eye for detail, excel in meticulous research and reconciliations, and have a passion for maintaining precise financial records, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations for commercial properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.

• Produce multiple sets of Auditable Financial Statements for various properties within the portfolio.

• Perform rigorous accrual accounting, managing heavy accruals associated with property expenses and revenues.

• Meet strict deadlines consistently, orchestrating month-end closing procedures efficiently.

• Conduct thorough reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data and identify discrepancies promptly

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive GAAP accounting experience, with a preference for candidates with a background in real estate.

• Demonstrated proficiency in producing complex financial statements for commercial properties.

• Strong command of accrual accounting principles, with proven ability to manage heavy accruals.

• Track record of meeting deadlines with precision and reliability.

• Exceptional skills in reconciliation, accrual accounting, and month-end closing processes.
