Madison County seeks a full-time Assistant District Attorney for the Madison County District Attorneys Office. The principal obligation of this position is to assist the District Attorney, at his discretion, with all matters pertaining to the investigation and prosecution of criminal conduct within the County of Madison at both the misdemeanor and felony level. This includes performing legal research as directed and other ancillary matters consistent with the principal obligation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: -Graduation from a law school recognized by the University of the State of New York, admission to and a member in good standing of the Bar of the State of New York.
-Four to five years of prosecutorial experience including felony level trial experience as a first chair is preferred.

NOTE: Current registration with the New York State Office of Court Administration at the time of appointment. The successful candidate must also comply with continuing legal education requirements throughout appointment.
