Philips Social Media Manager in Warszawa, Poland

Join a position in the heart of social media communications in Philips, enhancing our brand visibility and building meaningful relationships with Philips’ audiences by defining, implementing, and activating proactive social media communications.

As a Social Media Manager, you’ll be part of the global Communications Center of Excellence team and devise audience-based, data-driven, social media strategies to drive engagement on corporate social media accounts, ultimately strengthening the reputation of Philips as a leader in health technology.

Your role

As an integral member of the Communications Center of Excellence team, your role sits in the Social Media Communications sub-team and your main responsibilities are to:

  • Drive the enterprise-wide, integrated social media strategy, aligned with our Digital, Communications and Brand strategy, to support pro-active communications,

  • Oversee the central owned corporate accounts management across planning, publishing, community management, reporting and analytics across priority global social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Meta, etc.),

  • Drive an always-on social media calendar of compelling activation content– forward planned and ad-hoc – for key audiences, on the global corporate accounts in collaboration with the social media content strategist,

  • Enable local teams to run company presence mirroring global model (for example by monthly distribution of the global social media calendar for further translation and publication on regional social media accounts),

  • Monitor campaign insights and analytics, share best practices for social platforms,

  • Give platform guidance and creative direction to support the activation of high-quality content by audience (e.g., C-suite, B2G, all followers)

  • Drive efficiency and efficacy through data-driven improvements, optimization, standardization (governance, guidelines, templates, processes) and scaling of our content activation activities across multiple touchpoints,

  • Support the activation of a strong global social media presence via executive leaders, key opinion leaders (influencers) and other employees,

  • Ensure a high quality of work according to brand guidelines, key communication and team ambitions

Your team

You are part of the Social Media Communications team within the Communications Center of Excellence (CCoE). CCoE is a team of communication specialists who oversee global Philips strategic communications (planning and programs, content strategy and creation, digital and social media communications and related measurement). It is part of the global Communications & Brand function.

You are right fit if:

  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in communications, social media management or closely related role

  • You have bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) in a communications, journalism, digital marketing or related area

  • You have extensive professional social media management experience, particularly in a B2B and/or B2G environment in a large matrix organization (would be an advantage is also in highly regulated industry)

  • You can share demonstrated track record in running corporate social media presence for a big organization

  • You have an excellent knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Meta, Tik Tok)

  • You are pro-active and self-driven person with hands-on experience using social media to build brand awareness

  • You have fluent English lanugage skills (C1 or higher)

  • You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders

  • You have strong organizational and project management skills

  • You have an ability to work as an integral member of a multifunctional team

  • You are curious, energetic, result-oriented and pro-active person

  • You stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
