Position Summary

Lead, direct and control day-to-day activities of operation to achieve short and long term financial and operating objectives set by plant target. Manage and control operation to meet all safety , quality and productivity requirements. Establish operating budgets as per ABP volume, monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve all operating standard and product cost target. Set and monitor the performance of operation against standard and target in their area. Develop and implement a variety of operating policy and procedures (in conjunction with corporate subject matter experts) to ensure that the plant meets it current and future production targets and quality standard. Develop and lead the organization vision and mission to achieve company vision/mission. Allocate labour and other resources to maximize productivity. Research, evaluate, and recommend investment in technology, capital, equipment, systems, operational managers or others professionals (for example in human resources, finance, maintenance, quality, safety) to ensure that his operation meet it’s established standard and target.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to manage all Supply Chain activity doc to doc for all product type start from receiving material until the loading of finished product

  • Responsible to produce and deliver product as per forecast and order received (NOL) following the specification , quantity and lead time needed

  • Responsible to develop its own internal scheduling, managing resources

  • Responsible for the safety of their people in their area responsibility, their training in Safety and for the enforcement of Safety programs and policies

  • Responsible to ensure availability of raw material and packaging material as per demand

  • Ensure to control and monitor all inventory of raw material, packaging material and finished goods and meeting the inventory target per direction from management

  • Responsible in ensure good quality product made and conduct process control as per Quality Department instruction/direction

  • Implements quality assurance systems at all levels of the organization to create awareness and ensure common understanding by translating this awareness to consistent practice on the organization

  • Facilitates conceptualization of efficient production plans and challenges the team to maximize usage of available resources and optimize yield by allowing creative solutions to production problems

  • Monitors regularly production related figures and related financial indicators and reports to make sure the product cost are meeting goal (Direct Material, Direct Labor, Variable Expense and Period Expense)

  • Responsible in ensuring, through your immediate team, that the culture of 5S, TPM-ACW, Lean as well as other continuous improvement and waste elimination initiatives are established

  • Leads change initiatives both at the technical and people levels through recommendation of improvements in structure and processes by identifying performance gaps and resolving these with efficient and cost effective solutions

  • Set KFPs and regular reviews as well as carrying out annual appraisals for your team

  • Planning – schedule and coordinate the activities of financial and staffing resources to achieve company objectives

  • Negotiation – negotiate with others about controversial and/or conflicting matters

  • Leadership – play lead role in meetings and committees and conduct briefings as necessary

  • Degree educated or equivalent in engineering, materials or manufacturing based subject

  • Minimum 5 years successful background within senior management in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to lead and actively promote the continuous improvement and change management

  • Computer literate, able to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook/Email
