JOB REQUIREMENTS: WSAW/WZAW-TV is seeking an anchor to join our award-winning morning show Sunrise 7. This position requires a high level of creativity and communication. The ideal candidate must be able to produce and deliver a dynamic, compelling and understandable information our newscasts and digital platforms. Our anchors must be able to work in a multi-platform environment and will contribute daily to our digital platforms, including social media and wsaw.com. Strong leadership, teamwork and accuracy are a must. Our anchors are involved in the community and involved in the newsroom. The person we hire must have a positive attitude and be an ambassador for the station by making personal appearances at community events. The ideal candidate will also be a coach to our younger reporters and producers. You will be expected to turn special reports and special content for Sunrise 7, as well as live report & field anchor during breaking news and community events.
