Job Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, you will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers. You will be pivotal in conducting internal audits, collecting, and analyzing production data to evaluate product quality, and driving root cause analysis to recommend corrective actions.

Essential Functions:

  • Support in-house audits and corrective actions in support of AS9100 certification.

  • Drive qualification of product and process changes to ensure only the highest levels of quality are accepted.

  • Provide manufacturing support and communicate with internal disciplines ensuring product compliance.

  • Review and approve quality document changes - Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), deviations.

  • Promote and implement best practices in the assigned manufacturing area.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Quality Tech in a manufacturing setting.

  • Skills/Abilities: An understanding of continuous improvement tools.

  • Knowledge: Some knowledge of Problem Solving, 5S, and Mistake-Proofing.

  • Education: BA or BS degree in Quality, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering – ASQC Quality Engineer Certification a plus

  • Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
