Job Description * Provides a wide variety of human resource support and assists in the daily operation of the HR function. Acts as a liaison between colleagues and the HHC Employee Service Center (Enterprise HR Services). • Orientation & Onboarding: Schedule and coordinate all subject matter experts who participate in New Staff Orientation; manage employee I-9 and badging process; facilitate all aspects of the session; present Human Resources topics as needed; act as point of contact to maintain and ensure all content is up-to-date; as needed, coordinate all aspects of contractor onboarding and management; as appropriate, partners with the Orientation & Onboarding Coordinator; responsibilities may be modified to adhere to entity/region specific processes • File Maintenance: Manage all aspects of employee file maintenance: audit files to ensure appropriate documentation exists; adhering to appropriate file retention regulations, move terminated files to appropriate long term storage; copy and send files for internal transfers, colleague and legal requests; responsibilities may be modified to adhere to entity/region specific processes • Manage all administrative aspects of the Position Review Committee process: create requisition list from Taleo report and update Taleo with approval status • Assist in the collection and compilation of various HR metrics, reports and analytics • Ensure I-9 compliance through an auditing process: completed I-9 for all new employees; obtain updated documentation for expired employment authorization; archive I-9 for inactive employees and purge after 10 years • Handle the Contingent Help Process and work closely with the hiring managers as well as our HHC vendor Shiftwise. • Coordinate the Visa process for the Medical Group colleagues. Work with the colleagues, managers as well as inside and outside counsel on postings and requirements for visas and extensions. Responsible for keeping track of dates and requirements so this process runs smoothly. • • Act as a liaison between colleagues and the HHC Colleague Service Center (i.e., KRONOS/payroll, benefits, compensation, central leave, talent acquisition) • Respond to and triage all HR inquiries as appropriate, which may include basic policy interpretation and first level progressive discipline guidance to managers, stay interviews, exit interviews and focus groups, unemployment • Partner with Employee Relations Consultants to receive and effect policy updates, and publish revised policies in the appropriate electronic policy management system • Perform other related duties as required *Education: • Bachelor Degree required. • Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management preferred Experience • 1 to 3 years general business experience required • Human Resources experience preferred.
