Senior Engineer, Waste Disposal(003987)
Main Tasks:
- EHS management:1.According to corporate, company and statutory EHS requirements, implement the relevant safety and environment protection policies and procedures together with EHS colleagues. 2.Be responsible for waste disposal on site coordination with compliance to EHS laws, regulations, and GB codes.
- Project phase:1.Be responsible for waste external reuse/recycle/disposal workflow and digital solution set up.2.Jointly working with procurement and site EHS to fulfill 3rd party disposal vendor searching, auditing, and contracting.3.Jointly working with controlling team to build up waste disposal cost management and charging mechanism.4.Support wastes categorization and disposal channel discussion and define.5.Support WDS (waste data sheet) define and waste MABAS build up in SAP.6.Support to build up waste reporting according to national and local legal requirement and BIG management requirements.
- Operation phase: 1.Be responsible for waste external disposal in full compliance.2.Jointly working with procurement and site EHS to execute 3rd party disposal contracts, guild, and support plants for specific waste disposal.3.Be responsible for solid/hazardous waste transportation forms, waste reporting in terms of external treatment with close coordination with site EHS team. 4.Coordinate with 3rd party logistic contractor in terms of transportation and custom affairs if any.5.Coordinate with site security team about waste release certificate job.
Jointly working with controlling team be responsible for waste external disposal cost management and charging. 6.Be responsible for continuous improvement with respect to waste external disposal. 7.Be responsible for 3rd party disposal vendor compliance management and support periodical audit.
- To fulfill other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degrees above majored in Chemicals or Environment Protection.
- Professional experience in waste disposal or EHS management, (min. 5 years, direct waste disposal experience expected).
- Workable English and Mandarin language skills.
- Effective communication and integrity.
